Mission Statement

To promote a competitive robotics program that increases student's education and skills through competition, community involvement, and professional relationships.

Vision Statement

To inspire and enhance an appreciation of science, technology, and business through community awareness, healthy competition, and teamwork.

Divisions

Team Senior Leadership - These are the president and vice president who run all aspects of the team.

Mechanical - Design and build the chassis, drive train, and scoring mechanism used to cooperate with allied teams and score points

Electrical - Design and build the controls using provided FIRST systems to support the targeted activities for the robot in support of both Drive and SPAUX teams.

Missions - Analyze the competition, and identify strategy options and support testing of the robot, assist in selecting the best driver and shooter, and competition strategy.  Organize the competition, make team uniform decisions.

Business - Manages the team's business, community, and sponsor activity.

Programming - Write and test software to support the stated Robotics Team anonymous mode goals and driver controlled mode operations.

Animation - Uses Autodesk® programs to created computer generated images of our robot and a short animated movie for the team as part of the competition.

VEX - This is what is being called the "Varsity Developmental" team.  It is for the new members of the team before they go up to the FRC team.  Vex consists of a smaller robot and playing field and also have a different build season and competition schedule.

-Judges Award and Safety Award winner at 2005 VCU Regionals
