The Holy Rollers' FTC teams
1033 and 3061 grew out of last year's decorated FTC team 159. The
year before, VEX team 3065 won an Inspire Award at Farmville.
Needless to say, FIRST TEC Challenge has a growing tradition of
excellence at Catholic Robotics Solutions. The team consists of first year Holy Rollers as a sort of JV robotics that prepares the students for the FRC team in the following years of membership. Most recently, FTC 1033 won the Design Award at the Virginia TEC Championship in Charlottesville on December 6, 2008. FTC 3061 was in the 1st place alliance in the same tournament!
