The Holy Rollers of Catholic Robotics Solutions engage in a wide variety of professional cooperation and community service projects throughout the year.

LAF
Since 2007, the members of 1033, 3061, and 1033 have fondly called the youth outreach arm of their program LAF, for LEGOs Are Fun!

LAF is based on four pillars: hosting an annual FLL Tournament for the Richmond area teams at Benedictine High School, yearly LEGO summer camps that are packed with youngsters from all over Virginia, running an FLL exposition called Robo Racers every spring at the Science Museum of Virginia, and mentoring FLL teams around Central Virginia.

The premise of LAF is that children can learn self-confidence, responsibility, and hard work while still having tons of fun!

Habitat for Humanity and Dances

For the past several years, CRS has participated in building house frames in Chesterfield County for Habitat.  This has offered another opportunity for Holy Rollers to practice and improve their skills in leadership and community outreach.

As a means of promoting the team, Benedictine, and Saint Gertrude, the Holy Rollers sponsor a middle school dance every winter for area schools to attend.  They are a big hit!

Summer Camps

The Holy Rollers will host LAF camps for area youths during these summer 2009 weeks:

June 22 - Benedictine High School

July 6 - Luther Memorial School

July 20 - Benedictine High School

August 3 - Benedictine High School
