My position is to be the team leader in charge of CAD programming. I take the design ideas from team members and using the computer program (AutoCad) I design the robots on the computer. I then make spreadsheets from the design (sheets showing the dimensions and measurements of the actual "physical" pieces needed to make the robot) to give to the Machine Shop that creates and cuts the pieces.

The job of the mechanical team leader is to get ideas from all mechanical team members and put them together to decide on a robot design. The mechanical team leader must also oversee the work being done on the robot and make decisions to complete the robot build before the deadline. If the mechanical team leader doesn't do their job for the team; the robot design and build phases could suffer. |

I am president of the robotics team, meaning I over see everything and listen to what the team wants. I work with the other team leaders to make final decisions on anything having to do with the team. We schedule events for the team and decide what we want the season to be like.
